These new policies are to help us provide a better customer experience to you.
All classes and events must be paid for at the time of booking. If you must cancel for illness or emergency please contact the store and a credit will be given on a case by case basis.
We will be offering sewing machine storage for those customers that plan on taking a lot of classes or participating in regular open sews in our new classroom. The program is outlined below and machines must be in a machine storage cart (no wagons will be permitted), carts available for sale at The Sewing Box Quilt Shop.
Sewing Machine Storage Program
Cost $20 per machine, per month.
First month available with be May 2023.
Billed for an entire month even if started halfway through.
Monthly subscription service billed on the first of the month, credit card required.
Room to store one rolling machine cart on the floor of locked storage room and use of one shelf in locked storage room.
When you reserve a spot in an Open Sew, UFO, or class, your machine will be at your table waiting for you.
One open sew session per month included in your subscription.
Must sign waiver/ storage agreement.
Open Sew
Cost- $5 per day
Most weeks available on Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays from 10 am - 5 pm, see website for availability.
You must reserve your seat.
Each seat includes private table, comfortable sewing chair, and plug for your sewing machine. No individual irons permitted.
Use of community design board, pressing station, cutting table, basting area, food & beverage area, and ADA bathroom.
UFO (Guided Sewing)
Cost- $10 per day
Thursdays from 10 am - 5 pm, except for when there are retreat weeks or special events, see website for availability.
Sewing support available with an experienced staff person.
You must reserve your seat.
Each seat includes private table, comfortable sewing chair, and plug for your sewing machine. No individual irons permitted.
Use of community design board, pressing station, cutting table, basting area, food & beverage area, and ADA bathroom.
Embroidery Club
Cost- $15 per session
Third Saturday of the month, now offering two sessions, 9 am - 12 noon and 1 pm - 4 pm.
Learn to use your embroidery machine and make simple projects. Monthly kits available at class (for an additional cost) or bring your own project and get to know your machine with the support of an experienced machine embroider. If you purchased an embroidery machine at The Sewing Box Quilt Shop, you get one year of embroidery club for FREE! Go ahead and register online (to reserve your seat) and when you come to class you will receive an account credit for the class cost.
Pin Club
Cost- FREE

Cost- FREE
Fourth Saturday of the month, 10 am - 2 pm
At the beginning of each month a prize will be chosen and displayed. Every time you come to The Sewing Box and make a purchase of any amount and have your Lapel Pin proudly displayed on your person, you are eligible to put your name in the “sewing box” to win the prize. On “Lapel Pin Club Day” (the 4th Saturday of each month) at 2 p.m. a winner will be drawn in store and via Facebook LIVE. In addition, on Pin Club Day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. you can take in a demonstration, enjoy light refreshments, and get extra discounts on the featured products. Some of you may already have a pin—lucky you! If you don’t have one, it’s easy to get one. Just make a single purchase of at least $100 and you’re ready to join the fun!
