April 11th: Foundation Paper Pieced Medallion
Learn how to create a beautiful foundation paper pieced medallion that can be turned into a pillow or used to adorn a quilt coat.
Required items:
Foundation Paper Pattern
Sewing machine with 1/4" foot and open toe foot.
Aurifil or Wonderfil thread- 50-80wt
Add a 1/4" ruler
Glue stick
Fabrics for project: scraps for medallion, fat quarter for pillow front, 1/2 yard fabric for pillow back.
Pressing roller
1/2 yard of shape flex stabilizer
Basic notions and supplies: rotary cutter, scissors, pins, etc.
Optional items: wool pressing mat and mini iron
