April 9th: The Art of the Landscape with Nancy Hershberger

In this one-day workshop, you will use your own photo to create a landscape art quilt. We will study the details in our images to figure out how to interpret them using only fabric, fusible web, and paints. Fabric does all the heavy lifting to create the illusion of water, rock, and foliage, while paints enhance the look. Nancy shares how to use these tools in a fun and upbeat class, showing the student how easy it is to create something that only looks hard.
Students should bring fat eighth to fat quarter sized pieces of fabric and NOT scraps to create landscape scene.
*MUST apply MistyFuse to their fabrics prior to class* We DO have this in stock at The Sewing Box! Remember, you get 20% off all supplies when taking a class with us. (Tell us at checkout that it is for class.)
This class does not require a sewing machine.
