Sue Cook bio: "I started quilting in 2000 with a hand quilting class because I thought if I didn't like that part there was no point in learning anything else. I soon realized that there was more than one way to make a quilt.
My next class was a basic beginner class. My third class was paper piecing. After that class ended, I realized that if I could draw something with straight lines, I most likely could sew it and I designed my first original quilt.
When I took it to my local quilt shop to find binding fabric I was told that I should publish a pattern, so I did!
Twenty three years later, i have about 3 dozen patterns and my designs have been in a dozen different magazines and a couple of books.
I recently designed a pattern for a new line of fabric from Timeless Treasures and also one for Island Batiks and I'm waiting to hear back about other designs I have submitted to them."
